Update

So it is now the 6th week of school and I'm finally starting to feel like we're getting into the swing of things....both at school and at home. It has been a major adjustment, going back to work. I knew it would be, but with Darrin starting a new job, too, and Hudson starting daycare (and all of the germs associated with that) it has been a struggle to keep us all healthy! Luckily, Grandma is retired and was able to come watch Hudson Thursday and Friday (and nurse him back to health from his cold)....

He was feeling almost back to normal today so mommy and daddy went to work and he went to daycare.

I've been slacking on taking pictures lately. I'll get better, I promise. I'm going to have to work those in on weekends!

SAHM - for a day today

Well, Hudson is sick today so I'm a stay-at-home-mom for a day.

I think he's basically got a nasty cold....he's had a bit of a temperature yesterday and today and lots of boogers. I just put him down for nap #2, but it's sounding like he might not take this nap.

Everything else is going well with Darrin's school and with mine. I'm still adjusting to being a working mom, but do still feel like I made the right decision in going back to work.

I'm looking forward to next year when the kids are mine (when I will have started them on their instruments and they already know me and know my expectations)....first year at any school is always an adjustment and I usually enjoy my 2nd year so much more.
