Soooo sleepy

So Hudson has been sleeping a lot lately.

I'm not complaining.....but I'm not sure what to think of it. Maybe it's a growth spurt, but yesterday and today he just wants to sleep all day.

Since he's been a little sick lately, I'm just letting him sleep.

He definitely has a favorite sleeping position. He rolls himself over and tucks his knees and then sort of chews his binky and grumbles. It's soooo cute.

I've also discovered he has a strong attachment to "Keptin". That's the little lovey doll in the picture. Keptin's looking rough because of it, though. He gets spit up on, chewed on, pulled every which way. I had to wash him again the other morning and it was, unfortunately, close to nap time. Hudson wouldn't sleep until Keptin was dry and he had him.

Hudson is 7 months old!

The whole family is beginning to feel better. It was a little rough for all of us there for a few days. Darrin is back at work today....I think Mondays are a little tough for both of us!

Hudson is drinking from a sippy cup pretty well now. He still mostly chews on it, but the juice comes out that way, so I guess it works out. He gets really excited when he sees it.

Darrin gave me a few hours out of the house by myself this weekend, which was great! He even managed to take some REALLY cute 7-month pics!

Boogers

Hudson has a cold. He had about 3 green, crusty boogers on his hand this morning when he woke up. There were also several snot streaks on his sheet. Lovely.

He wasn't happy about this sickness last night around 3am, but today he is all smiles.

Snotty, nasty smiles...but smiles nevertheless.

Mommy has a sore throat, too. Lots of cough drops and chloraseptic for me.

While I didn't manage to get a good booger picture, I did get these two from this morning.

Yay for the weekend!

Darrin finally has an entire weekend off and it's amazing!

It's sooooo good to have him home!

This morning, we went to a pancake breakfast with Santa at our local fire station.

I really wanted a picture of Hudson with Santa but the line was ridiculously long, so it's off to the mall I go on Monday!

Gloria came over today to help us take a family picture by our Christmas Tree, but that didn't work out, so we tried the couch. It was difficult, to say the least, to get the critters to "pose" for the camera....

Hudson is officially an independent sitter. I still stay right by him just in case he tumbles, but he's doing awesome!
