"I love thee to the depth and breadth and height, my soul can reach, when feeling out of sight, for the ends of being and ideal grace...I love thee with the breath, smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death."
- Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Words of Wisdom

Wanted to share something that has been on my fridge for the past few weeks.
I have tried to remind myself to read it daily. To truly read it and understand it, daily.
This came from a memorial service for a friend and mentor and amazing woman, Cathy Grzybowski. There are a few women in my life that I aspire to be like. And I know that if I end up like one of them, I'll be doing alright. My mom is one of those women. Cathy Grzybowski was another.

It reads:

"People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway. If you are successful, you may win some false friends and some true enemies; succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous; be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway. If you give the world the best you have, it may never be enough; give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; it was never between you and other people anyway."
